![]() The p4 is great not nearly great enough to be too difficult to handle. Of course if the Axis player has the control of the battle and can pick and choose battles then the statistically better units will seem extremely hard to deal with for good reason. Can be very powerful and with only 4 man units they can be handled rather well. Yea dont throw cons at them as they'll struggle but maxims, shocks, at barrage, etc. The trouble units of the Axis as you point out (Obers, Sturmpios, pgrens) can be controlled a little easier than some may think due to their 4 man units and general cost to own (purchase and reinforce costs) being higher and Soviets having well enough ways to handle them. This makes Soviets cheaper and 'almost as good' structure extremely powerful when properly utilized and can be much more resource efficient. However, their stuff is good enough and is close enough to compete with proper strategy. Now on topic, Soviets are indeed a well rounded faction but does not have the best of pretty much anything as you say. I'd like to start with thanking you on actually supporting your view and not resorting to calling names, I really appreciate it. Notice: I did watch the AECoH tournament on the new winter balance patch and I know that some of this factions are going to receive changes, but I only take the current patch in consideration. They shine in late game with the cheap 7 men cons and good tanks with a katyusha to back them up. The early game is the hardest out of all factions, because the tier 1 (sniper, half-track, penals) is not really good. They are a jack of all trades and you should play them like that. Soviet - A tier - They are a fine faction overall. UKF - A/B tier - the brits are a fine faction and strong against OKW, but they get hard countered by the Ostheer sniper. It is commander dependent and no real room for new builds. ![]() It needs the most experience to use effectively. OKW - A tier, but - this one is a hard one, why? OKW has always been the faction hardest to balance and just a small buff can make them OP broken as hell (remember the fallschirmjägers when they got their new toy guns? yea, have fun!) Can be frustrating to play against - wipes units under a second, can be a game breaking faction. Ostheer - S tier = best faction in the game right now with the best tanks, abilities and some commanders (infa doc is just too damn strong) - It doesn't feel that op to play against them, except panzergrens - we hate them xD.
